The Silica Gel Rotor From Seibu Giken

All DST desiccant dehumidifiers use the Seibu Giken Silica Gel Rotor as standard. In the Seibu Giken rotor the silica gel is chemically bonded to the structure. This means that there is no desiccant carry-over to the air. It also provides excellent reliability and longevity.

      Flexisorb (RF & CF) – Industrial Desiccant Dehumidification Systems

      Developed to meet the varying needs of the process industry, the Flexisorb range offers a series of custom-built compact industrial dehumidification systems.Designed around our desiccant rotor, units are configured as either the ‘Recusorb’ or ‘Consorb’ principle, depending on the application. Dewpoints as low as minus 60°C can now be achieved in a single pass.

      RLZ & CZ – Industrial Desiccant Dehumidifier

      Industrial dehumidifier using desiccant technology for chemical, pharmaceutical and food manufacturing processes, large warehouses, cold stores, ice rinks and sports halls. Manufactured in Aluzinc, Recusorb RLZ units include internal heat recovery as standard. Consorb CZ Series are particularly suitable for deep drying applications. Units are available with electric, steam, direct fired gas or hot water reactivation heaters.

      As standard, all RLZ & CZ dehumidifiers are supplied with G4 air inlet filters, process and reactivation fans, reactivation heater, D-Max desiccant rotor, electric control panel and PLC C2 with fully integrated capacity control system.

      Capacity Control Options
      Two-step, multi-step binary or full PI linear control using either EH4, EH3 or an external BMS control signal.

      Other Options Include:

      • Stainless steel chassis (S2333 or S2343)
      • Internal ‘Armaflex’ insulation (19 mm or 32 mm)

      R & RL Series Desiccant Dehumidifiers

      Mid-range industrial desiccant dehumidifiers for dry air storage, cold stores, sports halls, museums, clean rooms, pneumatic conveying and process air conditioning systems.Manufactured in 2333 stainless steel these units include internal heat recovery, electric reactivation and Auto/Manual mode switching.

      Pre-wired for for two 2 step binary control (from EH4 2 step controller) as standard, units are also available for linear capacity control (from EH3 PI controller or BMS control signal).

      The R Series is supplied with the high capacity D-Max ceramic-silica gel rotor, G4 panel filters, reactivation heater, process and reactivation fans and all essential controls. Also available with steam reactivation.

      Flex Industrial Desiccant Drying Systems

      Specifically designed to compliment the RLZ series, bolt on modules are available.

      Modules include:

      • Pre-cooling & post-cooling (chilled water)
      • Pre-heating & post heating (hot water & steam)
      • Process fan – plug type, direct driven by 2-pole motor Filters to F7

      Manufactured using sturdy aluminium frames with double skin insulated Aluzinc panels with 50 mm fire resistant mineral wool (environmental class C4). Each module is supported independently on an Aluzinc frame.

      DC & DR Series Desiccant Dehumidifiers

      Industrial desiccant dehumidifier range for the flood & water damage professional, temporary humidity control, museums, research laboratories, silo headspace conditioning, dry air stores and small production processes.Manufactured from 2333 stainless steel as standard, these industrial dehumidifiers are available in three configurations; Aquasorb (A30), Consorb (DC) and Recusorb (DR).

      All units include our high capacity D-Max ceramic silica gel rotor. On single phase units, reactivation heaters utilise positive temperature coefficient (PTC) thermistor technology and are self regulating for maximum safety and energy efficiency. Three phase units use resistive type heaters. All units include Auto-Manual mode switching and are pre-wired for simple humidistat connection via an Amphenol plug.
